GA Telesis Engine Services Appoints Mikael Draoui to Sales Director of Middle East & North Africa Region

April 8, 2024 – Helsinki, Finland – GA Telesis Engine Services (“GATES”) announced today that Mikael Draoui has been appointed as Sales Director of Middle East & North Africa region. Draoui’s successful track record in this region, deep understanding of aviation after-market, and passion for growth makes him the ideal leader to spearhead GATES’s growth initiatives in these important strategic markets.

Mikael comes with over 15 years of experience in sales, project management, and commercial leadership within commercial aviation MRO and aircraft cabin management space. Residing in Dubai and originally from France, Mikael steadily built his career marked by progressive roles, showcasing his skills in aviation sales, account management, and strategic negotiation.

His previous position as General Manager Sales & Services – Middle-East for Air France Industries-KLM E&M provided him with stellar experience and proven ability to exceed sales targets navigating complex sales campaigns. Central to Mikael’s winning approach is his commitment to genuinely understanding and meeting distinct needs of each customer, aiming to deliver customized, impactful solutions.

Mikael’s strong academic background, featuring double master’s degrees from prestigious engineering universities in France and the UK, complements his professional experience and gives him solid practical understanding of aviation design and production. His Project Management Professional (PMP) certification underscores his dedication to excellence in project execution. Additionally, Mikael’s multilingual capabilities (French, English, Spanish, & intermediate Arabic) enable him to effectively communicate with diverse teams, aiding in successful negotiations and establishment of meaningful partnerships.
