GA Telesis Names Russell Bonnell, President of its MRO Division

GA Telesis named Russell Bonnell, President of its MRO division, effective January 1, 2012. Consisting of two businesses – GA Telesis Composite Repair Group, based in Ft. Lauderdale and GA Telesis Component Repair Group Southeast, based at Miami International Airport – the division has over 100 employees and is a significant portion of GA Telesis’ overall revenue and global growth strategy.
Prior to this position, Mr. Bonnell held the position of Sr. Vice President of Global Sales where he oversaw all domestic and international sales efforts related to the Aircraft Systems Group, Turbine Engine Group, and MRO divisions. His efforts led to year-on-year growth and expansion of global sales. He was also responsible for spearheading the Company’s successful global cross-selling initiatives. Mr. Bonnell joined the company in 2004 as Vice President of the Aircraft Systems Group and also brings more than 25 years of prior industry experience.
Mr. Bonnell will be tasked with an aggressive growth strategy consisting of increased and enhanced capabilities through both M&A and organic growth.
